The Magic Lives...
Enchanted Kingdom! Wheee~ It's been so long since I visited this happy place! I think I was in High School when I first came here and conquered the Swan Lake and Jungle Log Jam. Hahaha~ I came here last week with my
colleagues at work! What I love about my job is bonding time with
people. Movies, parties, and now... a visit to a theme park! (^_^)
Of course, we all have that friend who likes to take it to the extreme! EK has four extreme rides, uhm, I hoped I could survive the day. Hahaha! But anyway, as a warm up, we first rode bumper cars. It was good old fun!
Beside the bumper cars is the EKstreme Tower. Yep, you guessed it! Extreme rides here we go! Hey, I got a really nice photo before the take off...
But ugh... I looked quite the opposite after the ride. Why? Well, just see for yourself...
Woah~ That was extreme, isn't it? Oh no~ Nothing could prepare me for the next. Anchors Away seemed like nice and it wasn't even tagged as an 'extreme ride'. At first, I didn't believe my friend who said that it wouldn't be a smooth ride. But I do now. Waaaaa~ My insides felt like it was going out or something. I couldn't control my legs from trembling. Half way through, I wanted to quit, but the pirate ship just kept on moving. Noooooo!
After that traumatic and unforgettable extreme Anchors Away, my friends and I decided to stop by for lunch. However, I was in an adrenaline rush and I didn't feel any hunger at all. So I decided for a light snack, instead. The food in LaunchTime restaurant tastes great!
So after those extreme rides, we decided the next to be a bit more chill. Ferris Wheel it is! Yay! The wind on your face plus a nice view of the sunset equals the "wow" factor. Two thumbs up!
After chilling for a few minutes, we took another extreme ride. I mean double extreme! We queued up for EK's famous attraction, the Space Shuttle. Hesitation took over me when I saw how scary it was. But then again, my good friends just wouldn't let me leave. Huhuhu~
The Space Shuttle proved that I could conquer my fears. I could feel the wind on my face and the twists and turns. It took me to an extreme experience like never before! I'm happy that my colleagues pushed me to do it. To be honest, Anchors Away was a scarier ride. Hehehe~ (^_^)v
Okay, but after Space Shuttle, I didn't want anymore extreme rides. Hahaha~ While some of us queued for the Disk-O-Magic, I went for the classic no hassle, no scare ride in the Carousel. Happy times!
Then, we stopped by and watched the parade! Here is the cute EK mascot dancing!
With a splash of colors the fireworks gave on the night sky, we ended the day with a bang! It was a very ecstatic day for us. The rides, extreme or chill, gave us memories to laugh and to cherish. Enchanted Kingdom sure is a happy place and the magic stays with you, forever.
