Keep It J.COol

As I have said before, frozen yogurt is my comfort food. Despite the popularity of milk teas this season, I still go for the classic sour yogurt to relieve stress. My foodie adventures took me to J.CO. This food chain is more famous for its delicious and flavorful doughnuts. Other than that, they also serve coffee (called J.COffee) and of course, yogurt (called J.COol). What creative names they have. :)

I visited the J.CO branch in Greenbelt. There was the familiar long queue for doughnuts but I didn't join in. I went to the counter at the other side to try out J.COol yogurt. There was no queue on that part so I was happily accommodated by the friendly J.CO staff right away.

A single serve was just not enough, I knew that. LOL! So, I ordered a couple-sized serving of yogurt, which came with three toppings. Among the various choices, I picked Kitkat, Blueberry Jam, and Choco Caviar. The serving came with a large twirl of yogurt which was surrounded by my chosen toppings. I like how the Kitkat fingers were kept intact. It added beauty to the food, I almost didn't want to eat it.

J.COol yogurt is more on the sweet side. I could taste that whole milk flavor. The sourness was only an after taste. It was not creamy unlike other brands. Moreover, it melts easily so make sure to eat this fast. The yogurt goes well with the toppings I chose. Usually, I go for sweet ones to complement the sourness of yogurts. If I would have known that this would be sweet, I should have gotten fruits instead. But well, I am a sweet tooth! So, I like my J.COol plus chocolatey toppings! No regrets on that!

The price of this yogurt is PhP140 and you get to choose three toppings for it. The price is competitive with other brands. The product is good but not enough to beat my all time favorite (I will write about it soon!).

So, if you go to a J.CO store and see the long line of people for the doughnuts, why don't you try J.COol yogurt, too? The queue won't be that long in the coffee/yogurt counter. Oh wait, what queue?
