Nirvana and Waffle from Bon Appetea

Nirvana from Bon Appetea has got me hooked that I ensure that I have a taste of it at least once a week. For me, it is the most delicious winter melon milk tea out of all the milk teas that I have tried! I have already concocted my version by adding an extra dose of egg pudding on the drink, aside from the black pearls of course.

My version of Nirvana: with egg pudding!
During my last visit to the store, I ordered something extra aside from the large Nirvana with extra egg pudding. They have recently introduced Belgian Waffles to their array of food. I noticed a lot of customers were ordering it. So my hunch is that it must taste good!

Looking at the menu, I chose Banana Hazelnut (PhP65.00). I wanted something sweet that day. Come to think of it, I should have just asked their bestseller. Okay, I will do that next time. It only took less than 10 minutes for my waffle to be served. For one thing, the presentation is not all impressive.

A sneak peek. :)
Considering that almost every customer present ordered a waffle, I told myself that it must have something to do with the taste. True enough, my first bite didn't disappoint. It was simple waffle, yes. That is exactly why I like it. The waffle itself was soft and it didn't have a flavor of its own. The taste came from the filling of banana and hazelnut spread. The overall flavors blend and it was not too sweet. It even complemented my Nirvana drink.

My inference was right! The waffles sell because of the delicious taste! Just one more thing on my order, there were less bananas on it. *sad* I hope I get more fillings next time. Nah, I will try out other variants in my next visit.

Lastly, they should do something about the presentation of this food to make it blog or Instagram worthy. In this age where the right brain mostly dictates the purchasing power, packaging is everything!

I tried Wicked Waffles the first time a few weeks ago and ordered Banana Hazelnut. I love the fact that they weren't stingy with the banana, and the waffle is much thicker than the ones made by Belgian Waffles. Nabusog ako! :)

Hi Erika, thanks for dropping by. :) Yup, masarap at nakakabusog ang waffles. Yun nga lang, ang tagal i-serve, pero worth the wait naman. :)
